Au Revoir 76: Home Tour

It’s moving day over here, y’all! We have been busy over here behind the scenes packing up our little cottage and planning for our new home. It has been fun cozying up in this charming little house, and I know I will certainly miss my pink front door! Meet, 76 Trombones:

I realized that I never did a home tour after we settled in, so today I’m giving y’all a peek into the little place we have called home for the past 8 months. Better late than never, no? Today is the day we say goodbye to the home where we snuggled up in front of the fire, dined under a gold chandelier, played croquet in the backyard, and rode our bikes to the beach countless times on summer days. Although this was our temporary home until we found our dream spot, I cannot believe how quickly time passed. Welcome to our humble abode:

Cheers to new beginnings, a fresh palate to decorate, and a new home where we will make endless memories! I cannot wait to share details as we make our new house our home. Stay tuned as the transformation unveils!

Chanel & Dior Couture

I promised a review of my Couture Week favorites, and Chanel and Dior are two that never disappoint. The Chanel show was the chicest casino I have ever seen, as models marched in classic Chanel silhouettes imagined in a futuristic way. Fun fact: Karl’s muses walked the runway in looks designed specifically for them to reflect his vision of each. Ah-mazing!

Christian Dior is always a romantic fairy tale, and when Raf Simons describes the setting as part church, part garden, and part Ibiza nightclub, we know we are in for a treat. Flowing chiffon, dreamy florals, and larger than life coats make the collection a dream come true.

Paris Couture Week

Happy Bastille Day! I cannot believe that it has already been one full year since my monsieur and I were living in our charming pied a terre in Paris. We still talk about our Parisian adventure all the time…picnics along the Seine, strolls through Jardin du Luxembourg, fireworks at the Eiffel Tower, the champagne, the macarons, the shopping…oh the shopping. (See an overview of my outfits abroad here.) As Paris Couture Week comes to a close, I’m channeling some of these lovely looks from afar.
